I give thanks.. . .. .

First things first, Happy Thanksgiving everyone! I know that I am two days late, but it's better late than never right? At least I am only two days behind and not much more than that. Two days ago was the day of giving thanks and of course over eating! I wanted to make a blog post about what I was thankful for, but I thought about it and realized that it is silly to make a post once a year when honestly I am thankful all year round for all of the amazing people and things I have in my life. I am blessed with okay health (I have some health issues but nothing that ill ever let bring me down) I have a great job, an amazing family, two of the cutest pups and a wonderful man at my side. I am not going to lie, I am also thankful for the material things I have in life, thankful that I am lucky enough to have them and afford them. You know a car, a cell phone, my television and iPad. But at this point in my life, I could not ask for more. Although at times my life can be a bit hectic and all over the place, I wouldn't trade or change a thing about it. Every struggle I've over come, as well as every blessing I've had, have all made me into the person I am today.

This thanksgiving was spent with Anthony's mother and her side of the family. We had a wonderful day, the only down fall was the terrible ride to and from there, the drive can be a total killer. Our day started off at a little after 9am, we had to pick up his grandparents and then it was off to New Jersey to spend the day. We surprisingly didn't hit any traffic on the way there so we got there earlier, we didn't expect to be there until 12. We had a good time, a lot of laughs, that will forever become memories that ill always cherish. There was entirely too much food, but everything was so delicious. I guess that comes with being Italian, we always over cook. I had wanted to leave by like 5-6 o'clock because I knew that traffic was going to be terrible but that didn't work out like planned. Everyone was having such a good time that the time just fly by. We did get stuck in some traffic on the way home, not as bad as I expected. It was a great time and I am very glad we made the trip there.

All that's left to really say is be on the look out because my blog should have a new look hopefully by the end of the week!
