Weekend Update Blog Hop!

Weekends are always so bittersweet for me, I don’t know if I should be sad that the weekend is over and it’s Monday again, or if I should be happy because we had such a good weekend together! So anyway lately I've been looking all around on this lovely little blog world for different things I can do for my blog. I came across this really cute link up on Sami’s Shenanigans. Each weekend you make a post about the things you did, you can add pictures or not! So I've decided that I'm going to try it out, we will see what happens!


Friday ♥ T.G.I.F
So normally on Friday night’s we go to my grandma’s house for dinner, but this week I went to Anthony’s house after work and we had dinner with his parents! Can I just tell you that I love when we have pizza and wings for dinner? (Don’t worry I only splurged a little bit!)
Anthony and I were going to have a relaxing night in but. . .. . ..we got so antsy that we decided to go out bowling instead! I had a really great time, I'm not going to lie, I did pretty well my first game, I broke a hundred before my 7th frame, that never happens so I'm pretty excited. The other three games not so much because they had like disco lights and they were really bugging my eyes out! He says that I have to teach myself to ignore it, but listen man I'm just learning how to bowl, I need to see the lines!

Saturday ♥ Lazy Day!
Oh how I love Saturday’s, we slept late.. . .until almost 12 o’clock! It felt great, I love sleeping late, especially because I wake up so early during the week for work!
I went to weight watchers, weighed in and I lost .6! Do you know what that means? That means that the week before Christmas I lost 2.6, the week of Christmas I gained .6 and the week of New Years I lost .6! So I’m back to where I started!
After my weigh in, Anthony and I hit the gym for a good hour! I would have liked to stay a little bit longer, but I felt my knee starting to bother me and I don’t like chancing that! I was able to get a half hour on the bike, 12 minutes on the elliptical (which holy cow is amazing for me, I know it’s an odd number but I did it till I felt I couldn’t anymore!) and I did two machines also. It felt A-M-A-Z-I-N-G-! I can’t wait to go back to the gym today!
The rest of the night we spent at home just relaxing, he played video games, I watched some Netflix on my ipad! It was nice!

Sunday ♥ Bummer day!
When Anthony and I woke up, we went food shopping! Shop rite is having some good sales so we decided to hit them up! I was excited I was able to buy myself a new lunch bag which works out great because now that I’m starting weight watchers I’m bringing my own breakfast and lunch to work. This one is big enough to fit all of that!
We spent most of the day just lounging around and relaxing!
We also decided on the new show we’re going to watch together, recently (I’m going to get into it in another blog entry actually in a few minutes) we started taking our health/weight a lot more serious so we feel like seeing this show will inspire us a little more!


So that was my weekend! Now that I’m going to be doing this more often, I am going to have to start taking more pictures on the weekends, so that these posts aren’t just writing!
