Celebrations

I am completely exhausted, this has been an amazing weekend of celebrating! We celebrated our one year anniversary and my 26th birthday! Our actual one year anniversary was this past Wednesday, but we didn't do anything special because it was his father birthday. Not to mention, it was opening day for the New York Giants. Me, being the good girlfriend I am, gave up doing anything special after dinner and cake for his dad to watch the game! My actual birthday is tomorrow, but we won't be seeing one another because it's a Monday and we are both always so tired after work. So instead we did a nice dinner last night and a mini trip into Manhattan today!

Last night was our anniversary dinner. We decided to go to the cheese cake factory, it was pretty delicious. The only thing that stunk was we were so full we didn't get to eat any cheese cake! (Don't worry we took a piece home! The Oreo cookie one!) During dinner there was a terrible storm, but it was really nice to watch. We both really enjoy storms as long as we are inside. lol. After our nice dinner, we took a ride over to the mall to waste a little more time before heading home for the night! We didn't have anything else really special planned except to watch movies and have cuddle time!

This morning when we woke up, I noticed that it was beautiful out, so I suggested we take a trip into Manhattan! I mean come on we live a twenty minute train ride away! For the past year that we've been together I have been begging him to take me to madame tussauds, he finally agreed! So we pre-ordered our tickets, hopped in the shower and we were off! The wax museum was so much fun, I was there a few years ago with my family from Florida, a lot of the same characters are still there, but there are some new ones too! But I think the best part was defiantly the 3D action hero show we watched! It was only like five minutes long, but the 3D graphics and lighting was awesome. Add on how cool it was that they sprayed you with water when ice broke in the show and bubbles appeared. . . ...it honestly was just such a good show. I think that the action hero section was both our favorites! He was a bum though, he didn't want to take many pictures with the characters!

After the wax museum we walked around a little bit longer, had one of those character pictures drawn of us. I think the guy was trying to make Tony look like a pimp! He gave him these huge muscles holding a ton of money and he gave me some really big boobies! It honestly looks nothing like us, I know they aren't but really, he made me look like a totally different race!

Now we are back at my house, we are going to be eating dinner in a few minutes. But I wanted to update about the amazing weekend, plus post some of the pictures we took at the museum.
