Our Story. . . .
You know that saying "there are plenty of fish in the sea?" Well mine and Anthony’s story begins with PlentyOfFish.com! I never thought I'd find my happily ever after on a website named that, but I wouldn't trade it for anything because it has brought that amazing man into my life.

It was August of 2011, I had been on PlentyOfFish.com! for about a month and a half already, I had gone on a few dates, but honestly nothing worth mentioning. That was until one night I was sitting home, relaxing, when my phone went off alerting me that I had a new message on PlentyOfFish.com!. I'm not going to lie; before I even opened the message I went and checked out his pictures and his bio. Liking what I saw, and being okay with what he had written, I decided he’d be someone I should answer. I replied to his message, we started talking back and forth through messages on there for a couple of days. We then exchanged AIM screen names, talked online for a few more days so I could feel him out, once I felt like he wasn't a nut job, I gave him my cell number. We talked via the texts and phone calls for about two weeks before we made plans to finally meet in person. It was discussed for days; I kept trying to put it off because I was really nervous. It took him about a week to finally convince me to come see him.

On September 5, 2011, I was off from work for Labor Day, so that was the day we decided to finally meet. Christine was supposed to come with me to meet him, but something happened last minute and she had to bail on me. I knew he was coming with (at the time, they no longer speak) his two closest friends. I was so nervous the entire car ride, I wasn't sure what to expect or anything. It's funny because I had gone out on dates with other guys from that site but I wasn't nervous at all, with him I was just one big bundle of nerves. When I got to where we were all meeting up, he hadn't been there yet, he got there a few minutes later, so he decided to come in my car with me and we followed them to start our day together. I have to tell you that when he got into my car, after like a minute, all my nerves and the butterflies in my stomach just disappeared. It felt like I'd know him forever, like he was where I was supposed to be, it's an amazing feeling, one I'd never forget.

Our first date was in no way what I thought it was going to be. Normally on a first day you go to a movie and out to eat. Us? Our first date was anything but normal. We started our day off with some bowling, which I have to tell you didn't go over well, Anthony bowls on a league; I can barely bowl a 100 on a good day. After bowling for a little while, his friends had left and it was just the two of us, we decided that we had enough bowling, so we decided to take a ride to the mall to walk around and just talk to get to know one another a little better. It was really sweet; we walked around holding hands, talking about each other, just having a great time. We grabbed a bite to eat and decided that we were done there, so the next place he wanted to go to was City Island, the pier. When we got there, I parked my car and off for a long walk we went. Walking along the water, holding hands, talking I swear I kept saying to myself "I feel like I'm in a movie." it was so surreal the way I was feeling, it was like nothing I've ever felt before. We stayed at the pier for a few hours, I was going to drive him home because I needed to get home, but on our drive home we saw a carnival and we decided we just had to go! Going to the carnival was the best way to end our date because he did the cutest thing, he won me an adorable little stuffed puppy and when he gave it to me he asked me to be his girlfriend and of course I said. .. . .YES!
